About DEVlink

A software-defined engineering company built around real system work.

DEVlink is a Swedish software-defined engineering company focused on advanced software implementation, technical innovation, and customer-driven product development.

Connected engineering and industrial systems
Purpose

Connect demanding engineering work through software.

DEVlink has worked with advanced software development since 2014, initially creating C#/.NET applications and providing development expertise for customer-focused projects. That practical foundation still shapes how we work today: begin with the real need, understand the surrounding system, and build software that creates lasting technical and commercial value.

Our products connect engineering knowledge, interfaces, automation, and results through coherent software workflows. Specialist tools, hardware, and customer environments remain important, but the software-defined layer should make them easier to integrate, operate, understand, and evolve.

Mikael Bedemo

Technology entrepreneur and engineering leader

Mikael is a technology entrepreneur and executive leader with experience as a CEO, business unit manager, and product founder. His career has centred on connecting complex technical innovation with clear commercial direction.

His background spans advanced software development, e-mobility, embedded systems, automated testing, EV battery and powertrain validation, system integration, and technical product development. He has led cross-functional engineering and commercial teams and helped turn demanding technical concepts into practical products and customer solutions.

His leadership approach is based on open communication, clear ownership, mutual respect, and curiosity. Through DEVlink, he focuses on useful software, empowered engineering teams, and lasting value for organisations developing the next generation of mobility and industrial technology.

From the founder

Built from the work I have seen engineering teams struggle with

I started DEVlink in 2014 to develop advanced software and support companies with experienced development expertise in customer-focused projects. Since then, I have spent much of my career where ambitious product ideas meet the reality of implementation and integration. Across automotive, e-mobility, embedded systems, and automated testing, I repeatedly saw capable teams lose valuable time—not because they lacked expertise, but because system boundaries were unclear, setup cycles were long, faults were difficult to isolate, and important information was fragmented across tools.

My ambition is to make engineering increasingly software-defined without losing contact with the physical system. Architecture, implementation, integration, validation, user experience, and commercial value need to be considered together from the beginning, not passed between disconnected functions. A strong engineering product should connect these disciplines, remain technically credible, and be useful in the customer’s real environment.

DEVlink therefore remains deliberately focused and close to the problem. We use software to make technical boundaries visible, connect engineering activities, and help teams move from complex system behaviour to a clear and traceable decision. That practical connection between technology, people, and business is what I want a software-defined engineering company to stand for.

Company history and independence

Software development and innovation since 2014

DEVlink began with advanced C#/.NET application development and customer-focused software projects. In 2015, ALIARO was founded as a separate company with a dedicated focus on HIL systems.

Values

How DEVlink works

01

Understand the real system

Start from behaviour, interfaces, constraints, and the decision the customer must make.

02

Own the outcome

Carry product decisions through architecture, implementation, validation, and communication.

03

Keep depth accessible

Make advanced functions understandable without hiding technical truth or limitations.

Discuss a product, integration, or engineering problem.

DEVlink starts with the actual system boundary and the work that needs to become easier.
